Who We Are
Sports Image International is the result of the ah-ha moment of business partners Mitchell Meisner and Marc Arnberg. Meisner and Arnberg are the owners of Meisner Gallery a 40 year old fine art company, an industry leader in artists' management, sculpture and print production as well as retail gallery ownership. It was during the development of Lenticular printing for fine art, that the defining moment took place. Why not take this incredible new detailed printing medium and use it to create HIGH definition images of classic moments. SII would take advantage of the ability to put more than one famous image into one photo collectible, capturing the great moments and monuments of sports.
We work directly with the leagues, players and the professionals at Getty images and other photo archives to put together the finest images and then take it a step further. Enhancing each image and restoring them to the highest quality possible, then inserting them in to the attention grabbing lenticular format.
Our printing partner National Graphics holds some of the most important patents in the lenticular printing industry and are widely renowned for their attention to detail. They have been the creative force behind such programs as the Rolling Stone magazine 1000th issue cover. Together SII and National Graphics are developing new ways to print and portray the passion of sport. It is our goal to take the knowledge we have gathered with two generations in the fine art business and produce a collectible for sports enthusiasts with the impeccable quality of a fine work of art.
